Book One: Monsters in the Forest
A shape-shifting imp has cast a spell over the fairy village. Only Marina and her friends can see him for what he truly is. The imp wants to lock Marina away from the fairies forever. Little Smudge has a plan to stop him.!
Book Two: Dragon in the Lake
While preparing for Smudge’s birthday party, Confuddle’s mixed-up spell sends Marina underwater. Captured by water fairies, Marina can only watch as they set a dragon loose in the lake. Dragons can be helpful when the forest is filled with pixies.
Book Three: Kobolds in the Castle
Confuddle’s mixed-up spell plops the friends in the middle of a war between the Lady in Blue and the underground Kobolds. The Lady is certain Rugosa must be a fairy queen who can help her win. Eft finds a book that proves the Kobolds aren’t the enemy the Lady expects.
Book Four: Grimstink in the Swamp
Now that they are so skilled at flying, Eft, Confuddle and Rugosa leave Smudge behind. They lose track of her when a out-of-control puppy attacks the village. Marina leads the puppy into the swamp. Now she and the fairies must rescue the puppy from a monster.
Book Five: Wizard in the Tower
The magic circle around the village breaks, and a stampede chases the fairies off in all directions. Marina is supposed to guide her friends to the lake, but Confuddle’s mixed-up spell breaks up a family of opossums. Instead of running to safety, the friends travel into the Deep Woods to rescue the missing opossums.
Book Six: Fairies in the Marsh
Marina and her friends continue to track the missing opossums. Chased across the marsh, they think they’ve found safety in an unknown fairy village. The cruel leader of the village plots to take over their magic. Cast out of the marsh village, they are surrounded by old enemies.
Book Seven: Nightshade in the Garden
The missing opossums are trapped in a monster’s lair. As Marina and the fairies are searching for a way to get inside, the monster catches Smudge and traps her inside. Marina finds a way to follow and finds hundreds of other animals trapped inside. Help comes from the least likely place.
Book Eight: Ghosts in the Theater
Instead of heading home through the Deep Woods, Marina and the fairies travel into the city. Smudge’s sister had gone there months before and they haven’t heard from her since. The city’s magical community guides them to an old theater that is trapped in time.
